What We Do and a Bit of History
KUELLAR INTERNATIONAL -Trade & Consulting- is an international trade consultancy. Our services cater to two main areas: the business sector and the institutional sector.
Business sector. We focus on international business development, providing guidance throughout every stage of import and export processes and supplying the necessary tools to complete transactions. We act as international commercial agents, handling imports and exports under our own name at the request of client companies.
Institutional sector. We serve organizations and institutions such as chambers of commerce, international trade promotion agencies, and media outlets. We conduct market research and produce reports covering specific industry sectors or regions, as well as macroeconomic and current economic situation analyses.
The consultancy was founded and is led by Cristian Cuellar, who began his career in international trade in 1993 working for a customs brokerage firm before continuing his professional and academic development. He qualified as a Higher Technician in Customs Administration in 1999 and passed the competency exam for Customs Brokers administered by the AFIP (Argentine tax authority) in 2000. He earned a degree in International Trade in 2007 and, more recently, obtained certification as an Accredited Incoterms Expert. He is currently a registered professional with the Professional Council of Economic Sciences of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires and a member of that institution’s Foreign Trade Commission. He has contributed to Revista Multimodal—a publication specializing in foreign trade—by writing articles on customs matters, international logistics, global markets, and macroeconomics.
He works with partners specializing in accounting and legal affairs to assist importers and exporters in fulfilling their tax and legal obligations to the relevant authorities.
